LaBelle Province Restaurant

Dear Bubbie Ellie: I am looking after my 6 year old grandson and would like you to recommend a child-proof restaurant where he could have a good time and not really disturb anyone. Thank you. Grandma Mary

Dear Grandma Mary:
I would recommend LaBelle Province Restaurants. There are a number of them in Montreal and they are very resonable. The have a very extensive menu...they serve hot dogs, loads of french fries, hamburgers, etc. There are also kids' vending machines that keep them busy while eating, as well. There is a few of these machines that donate money to the Just For Kids Foundation for the Montreal Children's Hospital and each of those machines have a card on the front stipulating this. Enjoy, from Bubbie Ellie

What do you do if your kids don't want you to take your grandkids to a fastfood place like La Belle Province?

Are there any healthier restaurants you can recommend, especially in the West Island?

Also, what should I do if my grandkids leave half their meal on the floor in a fancier restaurant? Am I supposed to clean it up?

La Belle Province is fun for kids, but take them to the Orange Julep during the summer months.
